After months of surveying clients and industry professionals to determine what is needed and desired to enhance the vacation rental industry, local business owners and chamber members Ryan Block and Brandon Olson of Reservation Central determined that a complete re-design of the former RentalMLS was a top priority. Based a plethora of input and specific requests, Reservation Central is proud to announce the new and revolutionary RentalMLS (http://www.rentalmls.net/). This re-design allows the RentalMLS to advertise, promote and more effectively cater to professionally managed, privately owned properties as this has been specifically designed with property managers in mind. In response to the overwhelming feedback from survey participants, ResCen.com has also undergone a complete makeover and re-design to take full advantage of the new feature packed, user-friendly RentalMLS. This fresh re-design is aimed to portray the fun and tropical environment on Sanibel and Captiva while easily allowing customers to search and seek assistance for their ideal vacation rental.
The RentalMLS is not a new concept. RentalMLS.net has been providing its services to hundreds of professionally managed properties for years. Due to a recent change in ownership new life has been breathed back into the RentalMLS. Through the aforementioned surveys and research, RentalMLS is proud to announce its fresh, redesigned and amazing new user interface. Until now, vacationers have had no easy way to search through any of the thousands of available vacation rentals on Sanibel & Captiva. Starting immediately, searching for a vacation rental is easier than ever. RentalMLS now offers three easy ways to search:
1) Quick Search – Allowing seasoned users, property managers and travel companies to easily and quickly search by RentalMLS ID #, property management company and by specific properties.
2) Basic Search – Allowing any user to easily and quickly narrow their search by selecting city, property type, number of travelers, number of beds and baths and length of stay.
3) Advanced Search (used in addition to basic search) – Allowing any user to easily and quickly narrow their search with greater detail based on unique and specific requests including floor (1st, 1st floor stilted up to 4th floor), view (several options ranging from beach to bay), to any of dozens of specific unit and property amenities ranging from beach equipment to Jacuzzi’s.
The RentalMLS now allows property managers to display and advertise their properties like never before. Each property/unit listing provides a wealth of information starting with unit photos, specific unit and property amenities along with owner/property manager comments, google powered location maps and availability calendars (when provided). Participating property management companies have their contact information on each of their listings directing that user to the corresponding property manager’s web site or to call for more information resulting in direct rental leads.
